Just when

I get ahead on taking pictures of projects, the PC dies.

I'm a PC geek. I should know how to fix this stupid thing. But its not letting me fix it.

USB ports are not working. CD ROM is not working.....

SD Card Slots are not working either.
My only hope is to Fdisk this stupid box and start over. I'm trying to deal with the issues while I make sure everything I need is saved to my external hard drive. THEN I can blow it out of the water and reinstall Windows.

Or maybe upgrade to a Mac. Maybe a Mac would be the better option.

Yes. A Mac.

And when I'm back up and working, there will be lots of fun projects to show you!

Just a few projects...

from last weekends crop. I really did more than this but I just haven't had the time to take pictures. I had too much fun with Cori, Tricia, Bea and Joanne. What a great group of girls! We laughed a lot, ate at Lucilles and don't forget the Sprinkles Cupcakes. None of them had experienced the butter and sugar coma that is a Sprinkles Cupcake. I've been instructed to bring these to all future crops, events and the retreat in November.
A banner I made using a Maya Road mini chipboard banner set and the new Bungle Jungle line from Sassafras.

Copic Marker Make n Take at the store. I LOVE these markers. Might have to order some for the store. I used two of the pens to color in the owl. You use the two pens in conjunction to blend with each other. They are some of the best watercolor pens out there.

I was busy taking pictures for the Glossy Accents tutorial coming up.
Also got to play around in my room a little. I picked up this old 7 Gypsies paper rack at my friends store this weekend. I love it in my room and now I have a place for my Clip It Up. This opens up my desk space for another scrapper. You can see my old paper racks in the background. They'll be sold at an LSS Garage Sale next month (or this month since its after midnight.) I also purged over a foot of patterned paper. I have to be honest with myself. Is it ever going to get used? I try to use some of it from time to time but I can't use it fast enough. So its going to the highest bidder on ebay this week or at one of the garage sales.
I have a ton of stuff so if you're interested, let me know. I have a lot of paper, a TON of older Bazzill - like several thousand sheets in every color imaginable - embellishments and so much more. I'm trying to get rid of all the excess so I don't feel so overwhelmed when I try to create.

Weekend creativity

Attended another crop last weekend. I tend to talk more than I crop but I did manage to get a few things done.

I have more layouts that were started and just need to be finished. More on those later. You can find most of these in my gallery.
Cards: I used Carries ribbon flower tutorial on these.
One of the new Prima stamps and tags.
My one finished layout. Woohoo!
Finished one mini album and started another one:
Also, stopped my Michaels to get some ribbon for a Make n Take next month and had to pick these paper pads up. I've been eyeing them for a while now. I got them both for 50% off and the best part was, when the diecut paper pack didn't ring up at the register, the girl didn't check out the price on the rack, she just rang up the other paper pack again. So I got the $7.99 pack for $5.99!

For Cori and Mandy

They've been wanting to see what I've been up too at the crops. Here they are! I still have more pictures to take and another 2 crops this weekend. I'll need to clear space on my camera to finish taking pictures. maybe when I get tired of creating at the crops, I can take a break and get pictures.
Layouts
Cards
I used a lot of my scraps for these cards. I met someone at a crop who thought I was crazy to throw away scraps. I challeneged myself to use as many of them as I could. Now I just need to figure out what holidays/special occasions these are for and add the sayings.
My new challenge for myself is to use the scraps to make cards as soon as I finish the layouts. I tried this with the new Pink Paislee papers after making the one layout.
Oh and the new Prima came in. Love it! I'm taking these papers with me to the crops this weekend hoping I can find at least one picture to use them with!
