The Little Mermaid

This picture is from a 2006 trip to Europe.  I'm slowly scrapping pictures from this trip to add to the album.  This is the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen - one of my favorite cities.

Papers are from Authentique, letters are AC thicker and flair from the A Flair for Buttons Etsy shop.  (Yes! I used some of my *many* travel themed flair buttons on this one!)

I saw this Maggie Holmes layout and fell in love.  While this Studio Calico kit was definitely *not* my color scheme, I loved all the little pieces.  The little acetate circles were such cute accents and those BOLD black letters (I ordered two of this kit just to get more of those letters!)

I also used flair from the AFFB Etsy shop.

This final one is a layout I started months ago and finally finished up.  I'm embarrassed to say that I have a small stack of layouts that need finishing before I take photos and post.  I rarely get to scrapbook anymore so when I do, its usually to finish up a project I started.  Simple Stories fall line combined with some Chic Tags.  Flair is from Chic Tags.

I do have some plans to scrap next week though because my husband is taking my son to FL for Spring Break.  I don't get to go but thats okay.  I'm not a hot weather person.  I just took N to New York for 9 days for some winter weather.  Everyone out there suffering from winter blues probably hates me but I thoroughly enjoyed the 9 days of freezing weather.  We even got 2 days of snow!

And I have a whole weekend set aside in May for a retreat - looking forward to that!!

  1. Really snazzy pages here. I especially love the title work on the little mermaid page.
