A couple of years ago, I contacted someone I used to work with at my last job. After the major layoffs, we all went off to find other jobs, starts our own ventures etc.
She started her own photography business and I was lucky to snag an afternoon with her. She did such a great job capturing Nick's personality.
These were some of my favorite shots from the afternoon.
I used the Simple Stories fall line again because the colors match so well. Some older Thickers, burlap string and a sketch from Scrapbook Generation.

Pagemaps Inspiration
Pagemaps is just one of the places I get sketches to work with. Sometimes I stick close to the sketch and other times I end up starting with the sketch and then heading off in my own direction.
I got these two Pagemaps sketches from blog hopping and threw together some layouts using their inspiration.
My take on them.......
I messed this one up! The blue dots should be on the bottom but I had already punched and adhered it so it stays.
These doilies are from Etsy. I can't remember the shop name anymore since I've had them for about 2 years......
Using my new Pennant tool from Epiphany Crafts.
I swear this is straight in real life!
Some pop dot fun!
Another pennant tool stuck on there!
