Summer mini

As you can tell from this blog, I'm not crafting as often as I should.

I wish I was.  I have a stack of stuff in this room and more comes in each month.  I've been better about it the past few weeks since life slowed down, but I wish I had more time and energy.

I do have several layouts to share and a mini album.

I'll start with the mini.

I dug out some older photos and paper.  Bella Blvd Sand and Surf.  I stuck with the one line and a few of my leftover favorites from a stack of vacation photos from 2003.  Yes, I know.  I realize now its not realistic to scrap *every* photo you take while on vacation.  When I started this trip in 2004, that was realistic.  So I grabbed a stack of photos and went to work.

I started with a manilla file folder which I folded into itself 1/3rd of the way in.  Just to create a small pocket for tickets, memorabilia and additional photos.  I'm going through the rest of the stack now to see what else I can put in there.

I've done a mini like this before.  It was so simple and it took an afternoon to make.  Easy peasy.

The cover has some Bella Blvd papers, cardstock stickers and flair from a (flair) for buttons Etsy shop.

All Bell Blvd products.  Palm tree was fussy cut from paper and then coated with Glossy Accents.  In fact, all elements have Glossy Accents on them.  Its one of my favorite techniques.  The crocheted heart is also Bella Blvd.

I love the fact that I have these photos documented somewhere.  I feel closer to finishing this album now.
