Struggling with the December Daily

I've always struggled with completing this mini album even though I *love* the concept.  I think this is a great way to keep track of the season but I just can't even seem to complete it.

I had 3 unfinished albums from the past 4 years and one year where I didn't even attempt it.

But this year, I have a new plan.

This should work too.  I'm documenting our Elf on the Shelf.
Meet Ziggy.  Our elf.  He arrived last night and he's already full of mischief!

I'll be documenting Ziggy's nightly adventures with Instagram.

I'll be using one of these albums - both are the perfect size for the Instagram pictures.

I love this book simply because its square and the Instagrams will go right in.  It doesn't leave a lot of room for journaling about his adventures though.

This book caught my eye because of the long shape.  The pictures AND the journaling will both fit on one page.

Wondering where I print my Instagrams and Hipstamatic prints?

Try ScrapbookPictures.com (if you aren't in a hurry)

These look great in either 3x3 or 4x4.

Or the PostalPix app.

Before I forget....

Halloween.  I never posted pictures.

The costume.  He was a bullrider from the Calgary Stampede.
And thats his pumpkin.  We went easy this year for 2 reasons:

1. Time
2. Short attention span
Everyone asked what the significance of the number is.  403 is the area code in Calgary.  ;)
Our other pumpkins.....

My lame excuse for decorations this year.  This is what you get when you just don't have time to plan anything cool.  Next year.

Stay away from my candy mom!

Summers End

It seems like Summer lasts forever here in So Cal but its finally turning into Fall.  Which means Winter is right around the corner and I like that.  It might drop to the 60's during the day and *gasp* the 40's at night.

This cold weather girl needs that.

But it also means that I had to finish up that Summer not-so-mini album I was working on.  I'm really good about starting projects.  Finishing them?  Not so much.

But I finished this.  I wouldn't let myself work on anything else until this was done.  That was a real motivator.

And here is the second half.  You can see the first half here and here.
