BOO!

It's time for the annual school Halloween party and show at Nick's school.  I love this party.  Of course, I was a bit bummed when another mom beat me to the sign up sheet and got m y cupcakes.  I've been planning the cuppies for weeks knowing the party was coming.

So I had to divert my crafty-ness in another direction.

Spider plates.

Goodie Bags

Cake pop pumpkins made with my new Cake Pop Maker.
This is how the party looked in their room.

And the kids before the show.

The show.  I love hearing them sing their songs.

Time to party!
This is Skye - Nicks 'girlfriend'.  They act like a married couple.  Fine one minute, fighting the next.  She gives him a run for his money.  I hear they are inseparable in school.

This was better than last year!

A little something crafty

Finally got a chance to take some pictures of recent layouts.  We haven't had a lot of sun these days and when we do have it, I'm too busy to get outside and take pictures.

I guess Fall is here.
Back in June, I ordered an Any Tan tee for my sons 4th birthday.  The store finally got the Amy Tan line from American Crafts in late last month and I grabbed a few sheets of the paper to use on this page.
Hanger sticker from the Remarks book.  Used it to 'hang' the label from the shirt.
Thickers.  Used mists to tint them to match the layout.  Stars are punched out using the new Epiphany Crafts star tool.  Some are just papers and some I used the epoxy top on.
 Amy Tan Fabric Brad.

Maya Road Fall Mini chipboard and My Little Shoebox Tiny Alphas
I used American Crafts Zing Embossing powders to alter the chip shapes.

Fancy Pants End of Summer papers.

Crate Paper Farmhouse papers and stickers.

Kraft paper made into a file folder.  I had too many pictures to use on this layout that I needed a few extra spaces.

Pinning again

I have so many things pinned and so little time to try and make them all!

I snuck in some crafty time last weekend with my son.  I'd seen this frame on Pinterest and thought it was perfect.  He's learning how to control his glue in pre-school.  His teacher taught him 'dot dot, not a lot' when applying glue.

So he was my helper with the eyes and glue.  I did the teeny tiny eyes but he did the other ones.

Our version.  I used some Tim Holtz Crackle Paint so there is a crackle look going on in the background.

And then these free printable tags were calling my name.  Nick's pre-school teacher is a germ-o-phobe which is a good thing.  So when I saw this I had to make it.  Of course, I got to Bath & Body Works a few days too late.  They sold out of all the Halloween soaps except this flavor so I went with it.  I even tried to get more online.  Oh well, next year!

I backed the tag with paper from the Pink Paislee Phantom line.  Its designed by House of 3 so it works well with the Tattered Angels Mists.  The paper looks like this:

With resist patterns.  So this damask pattern can be altered to fit any project.  I used Blitzen mist.

I've got more projects using this int he works!
