Red, White and Blue

With Memorial Day behind us and the 4th of July coming up, I've been thinking about red, white and blue.

There were two new collections that just came out and I got my hands on both of them.

Authentique Pride

This layout includes a title cut on my Silhouette, glossy accents and bakers twine.

Bella Blvd All American

More glossy accents, burlap string in red and {flair}.

I designed these two pages for my LSS - Perfect Day Scrapbooking.  If you're local to Southern California, stop in.  If not, Rachel does ship so call the store to order your red, white and blue!

Along these lines, I made these cute little candle holders for Memorial Day.  I used the Airmail string from the shop and some Heidi Swapp chip stars.  The stars are misted and coated with Glossy Accents.

My glossy accents wasn't quite dry in this one but it was getting close to party time and I had to get them on the table.  I got the idea to wrap tealight candles with washi tape to match your event.

  2. You have such a great way with titles, I love both your layouts here. As an Aussie I find it hard to work with the red/white/blue collections sometimes as they can be quite "american" themed, but you make it look effortless.
