Intertubing

We took N to the local mountains last January to find a place that had a small snow area to play.  We found this inner tubing place that rented out big tubes and had a variety of hill sizes.  We started off on the smallest hill but quickly progressed to the medium hill.

My son has no fear and was quickly tired of the 'baby' hill.

He didn't even want dad's help getting up the stairs with his inner tube.  Or 'inter'tube as he called it.

Veneer snowflakes misted with Mister Hueys.

These Ormolu tags came in the kit.  I backed them with some of the washi tape that came in the kit and outlined them with a black gel pen.  I used Baker's Twine from the shop instead of the twine that came with them.  The twine in the shop is from the Twinery and is much thicker.
Supplies are from the Decmber 2011 Studio Calico kit.

  2. Great layout. Funny to see a snowy layout on a hot summer day in my area.
