Project Life Week 11

Way too many details to put these all in one post so I'm spreading them out a little.  I was 5 weeks behind.  Five.

I finally made time last week to sit and print out the pictures from those weeks which I stuffed into envelopes - one for each week.  I packed up my paper trimmer and all 5 envelopes and headed off to the rink.

N has skating lessons on Mondays and part of the fee was one free public session each week.  So, on Wednesdays I take him to the 2:15-4:45 session and let him practice.  For the past 5 weeks I've gone out there with him but this week.....he went by himself.

I set up shop in the coffee shop right by the window and watched him go by as I trimmed pictures and made notes.  He skated the entire session, only taking a break for the zamboni.

So now I have 5 weeks of pictures, journaling, notes and ideas scribbled down.  It took me no time at all to catch up.  I also got rid of the last of my Yosemite 'stuff' and that pile is now off the desk.  Gone.  Done.

So, I think Wednesday afternoons will be my new Project Life day.

Week 11

And a little sneak of week 12.  I saw a stitched map somewhere on Pinterest at the beginning of the year.  Its not there now and I know I pinned it.  Oh well.  The idea has been in my head for a while and I finally got a chance to use it!

I stitched our road trip map on a map!  This is the beginning of the Yosemite trip that I'll share in a couple of days.  I'm finishing up some minor details and logistics - week 12 is going to span multiple page protectors!
